Kenneth Gathere
Chairman & CEO
Martin Gichura
Kenneth Mwaura is a respected community leader with over 25 years of experience serving and supporting the Kenyan community in Reading and across the UK. As the founder and CEO of KRFD for the past 11 years, he has played a key role in building one of the most recognised Kenyan community events in the region — bringing people together through culture, unity, and opportunity. His leadership continues to drive KRFD’s vision of creating a stronger, more connected community for generations to come.
Sponsorship & Accounts Manager
A Chartered Engineer by profession, Martin Gichura brings strong organisational and relationship management skills to KRFD. For the past 3 years, he has played a key role in building and maintaining partnerships with sponsors, helping strengthen KRFD’s growth and community impact. His professionalism, communication skills, and commitment to creating valuable sponsor relationships continue to support the success and expansion of KRFD events.
